Hi Anthony!
I just wanted to let you know that my OD website is FINALLY ready! You can check it out at www.ClarityCareResults.com. Please feel free to share with anyone and in any way you see fit.
And thanks again for all your support. I am very happy with the path that you helped me find and choose. 🙂

Update: March 2012
Hi, Anthony!
So I know it’s been ages since we’ve talked! Fast forward, and I’m now working on my website as an independent OD practitioner. (I’ve done a few pro-bono projects and am about to start charging for my work!) In giving some background for my clients and telling my story, I’d like to mention the work I did with you and the impact it had on me (at the same time, I’d like to use this as an example of how outside, expert guidance can help people find out what they already knew and determine a workable path forward). I’ve written a paragraph that goes like this:
When I began to search for my next steps, I worked with career coach, Anthony Spadafore, who helped me discover that the methods and tools I had been using in my classroom could also apply to the world of work and were, in fact, part of a field called OD. I developed a strong interest in helping adults work within processes where each person has agency and the group can work together toward clearly communicated goals. In my work with Anthony, I learned about the power of having a guide or coach, someone who was “outside” of my situation and could see it more objectively, who brings special expertise and a supportive process for exploration and change.
Yours,
Stephanie
————-Update: Sept 2010—————–
Hi, Anthony!
I’ve been thinking of you from time to time lately, as I’ve just finished my practicum and am preparing to graduate and move into the next phase of my professional career. How exciting! All of my consulting experiences as part of the organization development graduate program have only confirmed for me that I’m in the right place. I just can’t emphasize that enough; I LOVE this work, and I feel like “I have arrived.” So thanks again for your help finding this place!
And keep your eyes out for an invitation to my graduation party in November!
Yours,
Steph

Hi, Anthony!
Firstly, congratulations on the publication of your new “Now What?” book! I am recommending it to brother-in-law, who is struggling with the answer to that question for himself.
Update on me: I quit my old job. The environment there was just so negative that it really began to affect me, so I decided to leave rather than hang around and wait for the axe to drop.
Also, I’ve been accepted into a DC area masters in Organization Development program for this fall! I think this program is the best for me. I just finished one of the introductory Lab courses, this was just life-changing for me. I had the opportunity to work through my core stuff, as well as learn about personal interactions and group processes at the same time. It’s hard to convey fully in writing, but this focus on experiential learning that this masters’s program has is very powerful, and I think it’s the best place for me!
I just wanted to let you know that, having attended that pre-requisite for my graduate program, I’m feeling so confident that I’ve made the right decision. Everything about this work resonates with who I am and employs my natural talent set perfectly. I couldn’t be more excited to begin!
Thanks again for all your help,
StephÂ
