Pathfinders Commitment

Since our inception 30 years ago, we have created an impeccable reputation as among the best in our field and we work very hard to maintain this track record. Pathfinders is committed to providing our web site users and clients with exceptional content and superior quality in our career testing and career coaching products and services. We strive to be extraordinary at what we do and make a difference in the world.

Careefinder Program Policy

Our Careerfinder program includes aptitude testing materials, scoring and evaluation of the test results and a single 1.5-hour talent profile consultation (the assessment results interpretation session) with a Pathfinders career coach to discuss your results and career path possibilities. Upon completion of the testing and consultation, the program includes customized recommendations for some next steps.

You may schedule your talent profile interpretation and follow-on coaching session at your convenience. Most of our clients participate in their interpretation session soon after they receive their career testing results. Others may wait several months to participate in their results interpretation session. If necessary, you may wait up to 1 year after the date of purchase before scheduling and conducting your profile interpretation session. Anytime beyond the 1 year date, you may receive the interpretation consultation for an extra charge of $150.00 US Dollars.

If you haven’t yet activated your online testing account, you may cancel your Careerfinder Program within 30 days of purchase for a refund, minus a $50 charge to cover the merchant fees for processing your order.

Once you’ve activated your account and begin taking the online testing, we do not offer a refund if you use the aptitude testing materials in total or in part, or if you take the aptitude testing but do not schedule or make use of the interpretation consultation.

Pathfinders Quest and CareerCX Program Policy

Our Quest and CareerCX programs begin with the same aptitude assessment and results consultation described above and continue with one or more one-to-one career design coaching sessions, depending on the program. These programs are specialized courses to guide you through one or more phases of our career design method. Each phase includes step-by-step exercises and strategies for a customized set of activities for our clients to perform to complete the prescribed course work. Each program is limited to a preset number of phases (see diagram), including one or more of the following: discovering, designing and questing, choosing, and launching a new or next career path. Pathfinders’ commitment is to guide you in making a career decisions that you are confident about.

The number of sessions each of our clients need to finish their specific program varies; some people may finish a program in fewer sessions than expected. Pathfinders does not offer a partial or prorated refund if the program is finished in less sessions than prescribed by your chosen program. These programs are not priced on a specific number of sessions; rather, for our specialized body of knowledge, experience and wisdom that includes proprietary tools, methods and coaching know-how to assist you in making a confident career decisions.

If you decide to cancel your program before you activate your account and get started with the online testing, you may request a refund within 30 days of purchase, minus a $100 charge to cover the merchant fees for processing your order.

Once you begin your program, Pathfinders does not offer a refund if you decide to quit, drop out, or stop participating in our programs for any reason.

Pathfinders does not promise or make any warranties that you will land a new job or make a complete career change “during” the course of your program, although some people do and most get the ball rolling in a new direction much quicker with our methods than the industry average.

Pathfinders does not offer résumé writing or job placement services as a part of this program, however, we can refer you to a résumé expert.

Pathfinders reserves the right to change or amend these policies and fees at any time.
